Middle School Night will be October, 27, 2023 at Peach County High School. Each student participating in Middle School Night will have the opportunity to purchase two (2) tickets for $5 each from the FVMS front office.

Ms. Coley’s 8th grade Social Studies students completed their colonial unit by creating and analyzing a colony. Each group requested a charter from the King to start a colony in the New World by writing a persuasive essay. They had to prove they had the necessary skills, experience, and determination to create a successful colony.

Celebrate your child's birthday by putting it on our school marquee! Forms are going home today and the cost is $10 per birthday wish.

Fort Valley native Ahmed Hill visited FVMS yesterday. He is the first player in the Canadian Basketball League to score 1,000 points. The students and staff were excited to see Mr. 1000 and proud to take pictures with him.

Mrs. Dunbar's ELA students had a great time using the Reading and Thinking Voice strategy in collaborative groups to pair their reading voice with their thinking voice.

Students in Mr. Clunis and Mrs. Price's Language Arts class worked in small groups to cite evidence from an article and create a placemat to record their findings.






Students are excited to read their Accelerated Reader Books in Mrs. Price's class!


Students in Ms. Coley's Language Arts and Social Studies classes have tackled vocabulary instruction through charades and word sorts. Students are being engaged and motivated to take pride in their education.
