Mr. Hill and Ms. Holmes host a weekly competition with their Physical Science students where they compete against each other on Quizizz. They aspire to maintain 75-80% accuracy while competing. #teachingandlearningatFVMS

Students in Ms. Holmes' Physical Science class used the steps of the scientific method to determine if a solute ( salt, coffee grounds, sand, cornstarch, & drink mix) and solvent (water) would be considered a solution or a mixture when they were combined. #teachingandlearningatFVMS

The FVMS Media Center was given a $1,000 donation for reading initiatives from the Balvaunuca Club of Perry which sponsors Mistletoe Market in Perry, Ga!


The Christian Men's Ministry Mentoring Group spoke with their mentees about the importance of finance management during their group session this week!


Our Goal Getters that met their AR goal for the 2nd Nine Weeks were treated to lunch at Railroad Cafe in Fort Valley, Georgia!


Mr. Bryant's Foundations of Investing and Finance Class had Mr. Tyrane Lewis as their guest speaker. Mr. Lewis spoke to students about the current trends in technology and where technology is headed in the future.


We are extremely proud of Teraji Wheeler and Marquita Smith for representing FVMS in the District Spelling Bee!


Mrs. Troutman's English Language Arts class reenacted Act One of the play "12 Angry Men" to see how dialogue reveals why characters make certain decisions. Students assumed the roles of the narrator, court staff, jurors. and defendant and portrayed each character's demeanor. #teachingandlearningatFVMS


Ms. Ellis' Enhanced Algebra class completed a collaborative stations activity as they explored how to multiply binomials and factor quadratic expressions. #teachingandlearningatFVMS
