Fort Valley State University Athletics Department would like to invite our students to their basketball game on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, @ 5:30 pm. Admission for all elementary and middle school students is free. Parents and guests can purchase tickets online for $25 each at fvsu.edu.
Get ready for an evening of celebration! Our Fall Sports Recognition Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 11th, in the FVMS Gymnasium. The main event begins at 6:00 PM. All student-athletes should report early at 5:30 PM to enjoy dinner in the Cafeteria. We kindly request that all student-athletes dress semi-formal for this special occasion! We can't wait to celebrate their hard work and success!

Our Passport to Success: Destination Achievement Curriculum Night is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. 8th-grade parents are asked to stay after curriculum night to meet with Ms. Johnson to discuss the requirements for attending high school.

Fort Valley Middle School is proud to announce that Mrs. Coley-Davis has been selected as a Georgia Teachers Initiative Grant for Innovation recipient through the Georgia Foundation for Public Education (GFPE) and the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFPF)!
Her innovative proposal earned $2,500 in funding to support the FVMS Literacy Lab, a creative space designed to inspire reading, writing, and critical thinking across all grade levels. The Literacy Lab will provide students with engaging opportunities to strengthen their literacy skills through hands-on learning, collaboration, and exploration.
