As part of our Trojan Test Tips initiative, we want to share Newsela, a fantastic online platform that offers articles and activities designed to improve reading comprehension and critical thinking.
Newsela provides:
Standards-aligned reading articles for grades 3–12
Adjustable reading levels to match your child’s skill
Quizzes and writing prompts to reinforce comprehension
Many of these resources are available for free, and your child can use them at home to practice reading skills essential for the Georgia Milestones. Please note that some premium articles and features require a paid membership, but there are still plenty of free articles to support regular practice.
