Welcome to the second edition of TROJAN TEST TIPS!
We want to help our students feel confident and prepared for the upcoming Milestones assessments. One great way to practice is through Khan Academy, a free online learning platform that offers personalized practice in a variety of subjects.
Here’s how your student can get started:
Visit the Website: Go to www.khanacademy.org.
Create or Log In to an Account: Students can use a personal or school account. If they don’t have one, it’s quick to create.
Select “For Students”: Navigate to the student section and find the subjects relevant to the Milestones by grade level (Math, ELA, Science, etc.).
Practice and Track Progress: Khan Academy will guide students through lessons and quizzes, giving immediate feedback and progress tracking. Students can focus on areas where they need extra practice.
Tips for Success:
Encourage your student to set aside regular practice time each week.
Review the progress reports together to see strengths and areas for improvement.
Celebrate milestones achieved in their practice to keep motivation high!
