Trojan Test Tips

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the first edition of TROJAN TEST TIPS!

As we prepare for the upcoming Georgia Milestones assessments, your student can benefit from practicing using resources provided by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). These official tools help students become familiar with the types of questions they will see on the test.

Here’s how your student can get started:

  1. Visit the GaDOE Website: Go to https://www.gaexperienceonline.com/

  2. Select Test Practice, Guides, and Samplers

  3. Hit Online Tools and Training

  4. End of Grade (EOG)

  5. Test Practice

  6. Standard Online Tools

  7. Choose a Grade

  8. Continue

  9. Hit the link for the practice test by grade

  10. Complete the audio training and familiarize yourself with the test and the directions to begin the test. All tested subjects per grade level will be in the practice test.

  11. Review Results and Learn: After completing practice items, students can review their answers to see which areas need improvement.

Tips for Success:

  • Encourage your student to practice regularly in short sessions rather than all at once.

  • Focus on areas where your student feels less confident.

  • Celebrate progress and effort to build confidence before test day!

Practicing with GaDOE resources is a great way for students to familiarize themselves with the test format and expectations. Thank you for supporting your student’s success on the Milestones!

Sincerely,
