FVMS is excited to welcome Ms. Kimberly Stephens as our new Assistant Principal of Instruction!
Mrs. Kimberly Stephens brings 20 years of dedicated service in education. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from The Fort Valley State University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading and Mathematics, and a Specialist degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, both from Walden University. Additionally, she completed her Tier I Leadership Certification at the University of West Georgia.
Mrs. Stephens holds multiple educational endorsements, including reading, math, science, gifted education, and Teacher Support and Coaching.
Prior to joining Peach County School District, Mrs. Stephens served in the Houston County School District, where she gained extensive experience supporting student achievement and teacher development.
She currently resides in Houston County with her husband, Jimar, and their three sons: Jimarius, Jacori, and Javon. The family also includes their beloved Shi-Poo dog, Ace. In her free time, Mrs. Stephens enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in activities with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., traveling, and shopping.
Mrs. Stephens proudly states:
“I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Fort Valley Middle School and to join the Peach County School District. I truly believe that educators are the bridge to the source that leads students to the things they need to be successful—supported by a positive team, a positive school climate, and a culture built on collaboration.”
