Ms. Vanessa Thomas Crafter
is a native of Fort Valley, Georgia. She graduated from Peach County High School in 1980 and went on to attend the Fort Valley State University. She earned both the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Middle Grades Education. She began her teaching career at Dooly County Middle School in Vienna, GA. After three years, she began teaching at Fort Valley Middle School where she has taught for twenty four years. She has served at Fort Valley Middle School in the capacity of team leader, English and History teacher, and taught at after school programs. Currently, she is the coordinator of the AVID program.
