
Mr. Dastous is a native of Lowell, Massachusetts and moved to Georgia in 2002 after teaching two years at Carson High School in Carson City, Nevada, and six years in Phoenix, AZ.
He has a BS in Business from Western International University, a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology and Design from American Intercontinental University Online, completed his Educational Leadership coursework at Mercer University, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education at Nova Southeastern University.
He is nationally known for his work in the area of instructional technology and has authored a book entitled, "Making Best Use of the Internet in Your Social Studies Classroom". As a result of this work he has received various awards including the STARS Award from Classroom Connect, National Council for Geographic Education's Distinguished Teacher Award and Teacher of the Year at Lovejoy Middle School.
Mr. Dastous has been married to his wife Lisa, a teacher at Eagle Springs Elementary School in Byron, since April 9, 1999. They met "Under the Stars" at National Geographic Society. They have an awesome son named Benoît.
Mr. Chester originally hails from South Florida. He served in the United States Armed Forces before beginning his teaching career in 1997. He is a family man with three adult children. He has had the opportunity to teach in Bibb County, Houston County, and Peach County. He was a science teacher before earning Leadership credentials from Cambridge College in 2004. He later earned an Ed. S from Albany State University.
Mr. Chester believes in being a great role model for our students and embracing each one as if they were his own sons and daughters. He also believes he must earn parents’ respect by treating them with respect and dignity. Lastly, he has a strong belief in taking care of the needs of teachers who in turn will take care of our primary goal of inspiring and educating our children.

Mrs. Clark is a native of Fort Valley and a proud graduate of The Peach County High School, home of the Trojans.
She has a BS in Middle Grades Education, a M.Ed in Middle Grades Education, both from The Fort Valley State University, a M.Ed in School Counseling from Troy University, an Ed.S in Elementary Education from Troy University and an Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University.
Mrs. Clark is married to Finily. They have 2 children, a daughter and son, Christie and Courtney.
