Fort Valley Middle School strives to provide a quality educational experience by promoting excellence without excuses in our daily lives. Its origins began as a junior high school, housed at the Hunt buildings, prior to being relocated to its current Peggy Dr. Location in 1990. Since then, our past principals have included: Terry Cheek, Dr. Virginia Dixon, Dr. Quintin Green & Joy Scavella.

Coming to Fort Valley Middle School January 27, 2012, the 2012 Enjoy the City Coupon Book! That’s right everyone, we are once again going to sell the Enjoy the City Coupon book that was such a successful fundraiser for us last year. During the 2-week period from January 27 – February 10 our goal is for every family to sell two books.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to FVMS February 2-10! We will have a great selection of books! All of your purchases will help to support of Media Center. Looking forward to seeing you there! Click 
Congratulations to 8th grader, Jessica Estrada! She is the winner of the FVMS Spelling Bee and will go on to compete in the county Spelling Bee on Feb.
Congratulations to 8th grade student, Tyre' Dennis. He is the winner of the FVMS Geography Bee! He will now test to see if he qualifies as one of the top 100 Geography Bee winners in the state. Great job and good luck! Congratulations 8th grade student, Brenda Ortiz. She was first runner-up. Congratulations to all participants who represented their teams!
