Fort Valley Middle School strives to provide a quality educational experience by promoting excellence without excuses in our daily lives. Its origins began as a junior high school, housed at the Hunt buildings, prior to being relocated to its current Peggy Dr. Location in 1990. Since then, our past principals have included: Terry Cheek, Dr. Virginia Dixon, Dr. Quintin Green & Joy Scavella.

Harvey's of Fort Valley donated a goodie basket to the office staff in honor of Mother's Day. We appreciate the generosity shown by our community!
FVMS Teachers were honored all week for Teacher Appreciation Week! The cafeteria staff provided special goodies in the work room each day along with a great lunch on Friday. Teachers were treated to a Chick-Fil-A breakfast and goodie bags. The Beta Club presented each teacher with a cupcake. We are grateful for the dedicated teachers we have at FVMS!
Our AR Readers with 50 points or more were invited to be a part of our first annual "AR Day in May" celebration! Students were treated to pizza, snow cones, drinks and other goodies along with a dance to end the day. We encourage our students to read and hope they will continue to read over the summer. Our top AR Readers will be recognized at our Honors Day Program.
